Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: 26 June 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which payments made to AVV NexEdge Pvt. Ltd. may be refunded, transferred, adjusted, or treated as non-refundable.
This policy applies to professional training programs, internship programs, placement-readiness programs, workshops, corporate training, online training, classroom training, and other paid services offered by NexEdge, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
1. General Policy
Learners are requested to review the course details, curriculum, fees, schedule, learning mode, eligibility requirements, and applicable terms before making payment.
By paying a registration fee, booking fee, course fee, instalment, or any other amount, the learner confirms that they have reviewed and accepted this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Refunds are not automatic and will be considered only after receiving a written request with the required supporting details.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights available under applicable law.
2. Registration and Booking Fees
Registration fees, application fees, counselling fees, seat-booking fees, and admission-processing fees are generally non-refundable.
These amounts may be retained against administrative work, counselling, documentation, learner onboarding, batch allocation, and seat reservation.
A refund may be considered where:
- NexEdge cancels the program before it begins
- NexEdge is unable to provide the confirmed program or a reasonable alternative
- Payment was collected more than once because of a verified technical error
3. Refund Request Before Course Commencement
A learner who wishes to cancel before the scheduled course start date must submit a written request to NexEdge.
Where approved, the refund may be calculated after deducting:
- Non-refundable registration or booking fees
- Payment gateway or banking charges
- Taxes that cannot be recovered
- Administrative and counselling charges
- Charges for any materials, software access, kits, or services already provided
Approval will depend on the date of the request, the course selected, and the terms communicated during enrolment.
4. Refund After Course Commencement
Once the course has commenced, course fees are generally non-refundable.
A course will be treated as commenced when any of the following occurs:
- The learner attends the first classroom or online session
- Learning-platform access is activated
- Course materials or recorded sessions are shared
- Software access, lab access, or login credentials are provided
- The learner joins an induction or orientation session
- Project, assessment, internship, or career-support services begin
Refunds will normally not be provided after commencement because of:
- Change of mind
- Change in career plans
- Relocation
- Personal scheduling difficulties
- Work or college commitments
- Inability to attend classes
- Failure to complete assignments
- Unsatisfactory attendance
- Failure to obtain employment
- Preference for a different trainer, batch, or learning mode
5. Instalment Payments
Choosing an instalment plan does not convert the course into a pay-per-session arrangement.
The learner remains responsible for the full agreed course fee unless NexEdge approves a cancellation or adjustment in writing.
Stopping attendance does not automatically cancel future instalments or create a right to refund amounts already paid.
NexEdge may suspend access to classes, materials, assessments, certificates, internships, or placement services where instalments remain overdue.
6. Batch Transfers
Instead of a refund, NexEdge may allow a learner to transfer to another eligible batch.
Batch transfers are subject to:
- Availability of seats
- Compatibility of curriculum
- Approval from NexEdge
- Payment of outstanding fees
- Applicable transfer or administration charges
- Submission of the request within the permitted period
A batch transfer is not guaranteed.
Once a transfer is approved and accepted, the learner may no longer be eligible for a refund relating to the original batch.
7. Course Transfers
A learner may request to move from one course to another before or shortly after commencement.
Course transfers are subject to:
- Approval from NexEdge
- Seat availability
- Eligibility for the new course
- Adjustment of fee differences
- Applicable administrative charges
- The amount of training already delivered
Where the new course fee is higher, the learner must pay the difference.
Where the new course fee is lower, the balance may be adjusted as course credit rather than refunded, unless otherwise approved in writing.
8. Course Cancellation by NexEdge
NexEdge may cancel, postpone, merge, or reschedule a batch because of:
- Insufficient enrolments
- Trainer unavailability
- Operational requirements
- Technical issues
- Government restrictions
- Emergencies
- Events beyond reasonable control
Where NexEdge cancels a course and cannot provide a suitable replacement batch, the learner may be offered:
- Transfer to another batch
- Transfer to another suitable course
- Credit for future training
- Refund of the eligible amount paid
The available option will depend on the circumstances and services already provided.
9. Rescheduled Classes
Changes to class dates, trainers, venues, session timings, or delivery mode do not automatically qualify a learner for a refund.
NexEdge will make reasonable efforts to provide:
- A replacement session
- A revised schedule
- Another batch
- Recorded or online support where appropriate
- An alternative trainer or delivery arrangement
A refund may be considered only where the revised arrangement is materially different and no reasonable alternative can be provided.
10. Online and Digital Learning Services
Payments for digital courses, recorded sessions, online learning access, downloadable materials, software access, or digital resources are generally non-refundable after access has been activated or content has been delivered.
Learners must ensure that they have:
- A suitable device
- A stable internet connection
- Required software
- Basic technical capability to access the platform
Refunds will not ordinarily be issued for problems caused by the learner’s device, internet connection, software configuration, or failure to use the provided resources.
11. Workshops, Demo-to-Paid Programs and Short-Term Events
Fees paid for workshops, boot camps, seminars, masterclasses, short-term training, or event registrations may be non-refundable because seats and resources are reserved in advance.
Where cancellation is permitted, it must be requested before the deadline communicated for the event.
Failure to attend does not qualify for a refund.
12. Internship Programs
Fees paid for internship training, project guidance, mentoring, assessment, documentation, certification, or related services are generally non-refundable after the internship has started or access has been provided.
Refunds will not be issued because:
- The learner does not complete the project
- The learner does not meet attendance requirements
- The learner is removed for misconduct
- The learner does not receive a stipend
- The learner does not obtain employment after the internship
Unless expressly confirmed in writing, internship participation does not guarantee a stipend or job.
13. Placement and Career-Support Programs
Fees are not refundable solely because a learner:
- Does not receive interview calls
- Is not shortlisted by an employer
- Does not clear an assessment or interview
- Rejects available opportunities
- Does not meet employer eligibility requirements
- Does not obtain a particular salary, company, role, or location
- Fails to participate in career-support activities
Placement and career-support services are designed to improve employability and readiness. They do not constitute an unconditional employment guarantee.
Any placement commitment program will also be governed by its separate written eligibility conditions and agreement.
14. Corporate and Institutional Training
Refunds and cancellations for corporate, college, university, or institutional training will be governed by the relevant proposal, quotation, purchase order, memorandum of understanding, or service agreement.
Where no separate agreement exists, this policy will apply.
15. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
Where a learner is charged more than once for the same transaction, they must notify NexEdge with:
- Learner name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Payment date
- Amount
- Transaction reference
- Payment screenshot or bank statement
After verification, an eligible duplicate amount will be refunded or adjusted.
Incorrect payments made to unauthorised personal accounts or third parties may not be the responsibility of NexEdge.
Learners should make payments only through officially approved payment methods.
16. Promotional Offers and Discounts
Discounts, scholarships, coupons, promotional fees, and special offers have no cash value and cannot be separately refunded.
Where a refund is approved, it will be calculated based on the amount actually paid, not the standard advertised course price.
If a bundled service is partially used, the value of the used service may be deducted at the standard applicable rate.
17. Learning Materials and Third-Party Charges
Charges for the following may be non-refundable after they have been provided or activated:
- Printed study materials
- Course kits
- Examination vouchers
- Certification fees
- Third-party software
- Cloud credits
- Lab access
- Licensed content
- Books
- Shipping or courier charges
Any third-party refund will also depend on the applicable provider’s policy.
18. How to Submit a Refund Request
Refund requests must be submitted by email to:
The request should include:
- Learner’s full name
- Registered phone number
- Registered email address
- Course or program name
- Batch details
- Date and amount of payment
- Transaction reference
- Reason for cancellation
- Supporting documents, where relevant
- Bank or payment details required for processing
Requests made only through phone calls, trainers, counsellors, social media, or informal messaging may not be treated as formal refund requests.
19. Review and Approval
After receiving a complete request, NexEdge will review:
- The enrolment date
- The course start date
- Attendance
- Learning-platform usage
- Materials or services already provided
- Outstanding fees
- The reason for cancellation
- Applicable written agreements
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
NexEdge may request additional information before making a decision.
20. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method wherever possible.
The refund amount may be reduced by:
- Non-refundable fees
- Administrative charges
- Services already used
- Course materials already delivered
- Payment gateway charges
- Bank charges
- Applicable taxes or statutory deductions
Processing time may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway, and payment method.
NexEdge will communicate the approved amount and expected processing period after the request is accepted.
21. Refund to the Original Payer
Refunds will generally be issued only to:
- The original payment source
- The account holder who made the payment
- A verified parent, guardian, company, or sponsor who paid the fee
NexEdge may request identity, bank, authorisation, or payment-verification documents before processing the refund.
22. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Learners should contact NexEdge before initiating a bank or payment-gateway chargeback.
Submitting a false, misleading, or fraudulent chargeback may result in:
- Suspension of training access
- Cancellation of enrolment
- Withholding of certificates
- Recovery of outstanding dues
- Appropriate legal action
This does not prevent a consumer from exercising lawful rights or seeking genuine grievance redressal.
23. Exceptional Circumstances
NexEdge may consider a partial refund, course credit, deferment, or batch transfer in exceptional circumstances such as:
- Serious medical emergencies
- Death of the enrolled learner
- Other significant circumstances supported by valid documentation
Such decisions will be made case by case and remain subject to approval.
